Filming progress
Been a while since my last post , so here is a quick update: Mass amounts of filming has been under way with lots of interesting results, some stuff has been thought up on the days of filming which will help to pad the film out, not that I need it with all the other stuff I have to film. But I have the beginning ten minutes sorted and the majority of the middle done too, just need to film the ending, the “ed the head scene” and some pick ups then I will be done, might not be able to do that much this week as I have the flu and am suffering in bed at the minute. But all is god so far

Okay, so I haven’t been keeping up to date on this blog as of late, that is because I have been stressing about how the hell I’m going to get this movie made, as usual i have made myself a task that is too difficult to do at this stage in time with so little cash and actors. As a side note I wish to state that it has been bloody hard to get actors as most of them either want to be paid for the job or are unavailable because of stage productions, but no matter, I will have to find a way around this, and if worst comes to worst then I will have to do some acting (5 years at the red lion theatre ammeter dramatics and GCSE in drama may finally pay off). I also have an array of friends who are willing to help me out with the acting, people who i can film for a day maybe two, so that means I will have to be tight with the arrangements of the filming days. Luckily I also know an out of work, “down on his luck” ex film student who may be willing to step in and help with camera work, lighting ect. So not to worry about the cast and crew for now.
The story however is the down fall, it is way too complicated and at this stage in time I don’t think I can get it done, this was until I had an idea. In a state of not-quite sleep and not-yet awake I saw a new direction for my film. Well, it’s not that new really, it’s basically the same story and characters except a few things have changed, the motivation, the back story and the character’s personality. These three things allow for a nice twist towards the end of the film that should leave the viewer feeling cold and yet slightly sorry for the zombie protagonist.
The Ed the head character will have to be changed as well as the creation of the head is still under way and wont be finished till after Easter, therefore I will be filming the head parts later on in the production schedule.
Im just re writing the script now so that i can get this done asap, will catch up with you all when I’m done.

With all pretentious subtext out of the way, this is my tumblr what-ya-ma-call-it page, where i intend to keep a web log or "blog" as all the hip youngsters are calling it these days, in order to keep a working diary of my work so far on my Big Fat Zombie Film (the real title is a secret, yes I have already though of it before you say "oh he's not telling us because he hasn't thought of a title yet" )...... oops
